"I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Coleman A. Young Foundation (CAYF) and I will always be grateful for the assistance that it provided in my successful graduation from college. If I had to define, in a few words, what the foundation has done for me, it would be giving me a positive combination of circumstances (educational, professional and personal)." - Kenequia D. Parker, Michigan State University, 2002
