The Coleman A. Young Foundation invites you to submit nominations for the Detroit Educator of the Year.  Nominations must be of individuals from the City of Detroit community who exemplify the leadership characteristics and spirit of the late Coleman A. Young.

We invite you and /or your organization to nominate individuals to be considered for the Detroit Educator of the Year Award.  This person should be either an administrator, teacher or counselor from an Elementary, Middle or High School in the City of Detroit, who is assessed as bringing out the best in youth, who "goes the extra mile" and motivates students to achieve their potential.  This person helps students to overcome obstacles and challenges them to reach their goals.

Nominations must be received in our office by Friday April 09, 2010.
