Coleman A. Young Foundation's (CAYF) 2023 Annual Awards breakfast takes place Friday, May 19, 2023, at MGM Grand Detroit. The event celebrates this year's Coleman A. Young Scholarship recipients, college, high school and REAL Skills graduates; and the Detroit Educator of the Year.

CAYF is a 501 (c) (3), nonprofit organization operating under the Federal EIN 38-2400801. All contributions are tax deductible according to State and Federal guidelines.

CAYF is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization established in 1982 to provide financial support and mentor young Detroiters who seek a college education. CAYF has provided over 450 college scholarships to eligible students from Detroit schools, of all backgrounds.

Acceptance and participation in our scholarship and after school program are the same for everyone without regard to religion, race, color, national origin, age, sex, handicap or sexual preference.
