Detroit Educator of the Year

The year 2026 marks the 20th awarding of the Fred Martin Detroit Educator of the Year, and Coleman A. Young Foundation (CAYF) now invites nominations. Nominees must work in the Detroit community, and must exemplify the leadership characteristics and spirit of late Detroit Mayor Coleman Alexander Young.
