The Michael Burnett Scholarship

Michael Burnett was truly loved by everyone who knew him. His kindness touched all, and his presence could instantly bring laughter to any room. Tragically, Michael’s vibrant life was cut short just months after graduating from Michigan State University in 2019. His untimely passing left his entire community heartbroken, but profoundly grateful for the joy and kindness he shared. To honor his memory, his family and friends have established The Michael Burnett Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support a Detroit student who embodies the same love and light that Michael exemplified. Through this initiative, Michael’s spirit of generosity and warmth will continue to inspire future generations.
